401 Screen Structure and Town of Halton Hills Monument
KMA Contracting Inc. bid the 401 Screen Structure and Town of Halton Hills Monument as a lump sum tender to TransCanada Energy Ltd. who had agreed to provide an urban design feature to highlight the town while at the same time softening the visual impact of the new generating station.
The project is unique in form and function as it is not a building for occupancy, but a marker identifying the Town of Halton Hills, its location and by implication of design, a community open to development and technical innovation.
