WSIB Chair Releases Consultation Paper

In early 2009, WSIB Chair Steven Mahoney introduced an approach to establish a solid foundation for a sustainable workplace safety and insurance system for Ontario, and to build a long-term, certain financial future. After a year long process of consultations with industry stakeholders, the report is now complete. It provides a summary of the consultation feedback, and identifies a number of areas for further consideration and action.

The report will now feed into developing funding strategies led by David Marshall, the new WSIB President. Together, the WSIB and stakeholders will work together to address the key themes identified.
