OGCA has partnered with My Safe Work to support awareness with young people and promote Rob Ellis’s campaign to build excellence in workplace health and safety. Members are invited to participate in school events with Rob and to host him on your site(s) to celebrate achieving your safety goals and to motive your employees.
Rob Ellis started this charitable foundation to try to prevent young workers from dying or getting hurt at work. Its unique approach of linking up students, parents, educators and corporate executives and workers face-to-face to talk about workplace safety has impacted more than five million people across North America.
This Fall, all of Rob Ellis’s events will highlight the signing of the Premier’s Jersey of Courage. This special Jersey has already attracted the attention of many OGCA leaders across the Province, including the EllisDon leadership team to encourage them on their renewed commitment to workplace safety.
Below is Rob’s shortlist for Ontario public appearances. OGCA members are invited to join him at the schools and Colleges. No preparation is required and each event is 90 minutes in duration. The dress is casual or workplace outfit. No speeches required. Please help transfer workplace knowledge and experience to 1000 students and young workers. Each session will include the formal signing of the Premier’s Jersey of Courage. Bring your camera!
