The OGCA is excited to offer our members the opportunity to participate in the 2026 General’s Lab Innovation Program Finals Showcase and Networking Event on Tuesday, August 25 at Limberlost Place, George Brown Polytechnic in Toronto.
What is GLIP?
GLIP, the General’s Lab Innovation Program, is a province wide student construction innovation accelerator hosted by the OGCA and American Global. The program brings together students from colleges and universities across Ontario and gives them the chance to work on real construction industry challenges, not theoretical case studies.
Over the past six to eight months, student teams have been developing practical ideas, prototypes, and innovation solutions with support from schools, sponsors, and industry mentors from firms such as: Bird Construction, Alberici, Eastern Construction, TESC Contracting, GEN-PRO, Maple Reinders, PCL Construction, Pomerleau, Mattamy Homes, and others.
The Finals Showcase is your opportunity to come see these innovation solutions firsthand, hear directly from the students behind them, and connect with the contractors, educators, mentors, sponsors, and technology partners helping shape the future of Ontario construction.
