This event is a great opportunity to get facetime with OGCA members, and take advantage of a day filled with great food, golf and business building. This year the OGCA is proud to support the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Toronto Charity.
What does the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Toronto Charity do?
- Mission: We build thriving communities by empowering lives through mentorship
- What we do: BBBST matches children and youth facing adversity with a caring and consistent adult mentor.
- The impact: Through our mentorship relationships, young people see positive results in mental health, education, career opportunities and civic engagement. Our work has been proven to help break the cycles of violence, drug abuse, poverty and inequality.
- Goals: BBBST currently serves roughly 1,500 children and youth in Toronto. We’d like to grow our impact to reach 4,000 young people by 2025.
