The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) recently completed a $2 billion distribution in surplus funds to 280,000 businesses.
Ontario businesses continue to face economic uncertainty. In response, the WSIB will be distributing an additional $2 billion to safe, Schedule 1 businesses this spring.

The WSIB is also providing all WSIB-registered businesses with free access to vital health and safety resources through the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety’s Business Safety Portal—a value of up to $1,700 per year.
These new resources—including ready-made templates and how-to guides—are available by logging in to the CCOHS: Business Safety Portal.
