The OGCA is sharing an important letter from our President, Giovanni Cautillo, regarding recent changes from the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) related to health and safety program equivalency.
The letter outlines the OGCA’s position on the selection of health and safety programs for construction projects, emphasizing the necessity for buyers to include all Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) accredited programs in their tender documents. This includes the COR® 2020 and ISO 45001:2018 programs.
